Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

At Petit Bistro, we strive to provide an exceptional dining experience with fresh, high-quality ingredients and attentive service. Due to the perishable nature of food and the personalized preparation of each meal, our refund policy is limited. All sales are final unless specified below.

1. In-Restaurant Dining and Takeout Orders

  • No refunds for dissatisfaction with taste/preference: Once food is prepared and served (or handed over for takeout), we do not offer refunds or credits if a guest simply does not like the dish, as meals are made to order.

  • Errors or issues with your order:

    • If we make a mistake (e.g., wrong item, missing component, or incorrect preparation), please notify your server immediately while dining or contact us as soon as possible for takeout (within 30 minutes of pickup/delivery if applicable).

    • We will gladly correct the issue by remaking the dish at no charge, or—if a remake is not feasible—offer a full refund for the affected item(s), store credit, or alternative resolution at the manager's discretion.

    • For credit card payments, refunds will be processed to the original card. For cash payments, we may issue cash, store credit, or a combination.

  • Food safety concerns: If you believe food is unsafe (e.g., undercooked as ordered or spoiled), inform us right away. We take these matters seriously and will investigate/refund as appropriate.

2. Reservations, Cancellations, and No-Shows

  • Reservations are held without a deposit or fee for standard parties.

  • We kindly ask for cancellations at least [24 hours / 48 hours – choose based on your preference] in advance to avoid impacting other guests.

  • No-shows or same-day cancellations may result in a courtesy note for future visits, but we do not charge fees at this time.

3. Gift Cards and Prepaid Purchases

  • Gift cards are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and have no cash value except as required by law.

  • They cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by applicable state law (Arkansas does not mandate cash refunds for gift card balances under a certain amount, but we comply with any relevant federal or state requirements).

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards will not be replaced or refunded.

4. Online Orders / Reservations (if applicable)

  • For any prepaid elements (e.g., event deposits or special reservations via third-party platforms like OpenTable), refunds follow the platform's policy plus ours.

  • Cancellations follow the timelines above.

5. General Terms

  • All decisions regarding refunds, credits, or resolutions are at the sole discretion of Petit Bistro management.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or refunds in cases of abuse, fraud, or repeated issues.

  • This policy complies with Arkansas consumer protection laws, which do not require refunds for food purchases unless the product is defective or misrepresented.
